I also want to say last time I did this I got criticism for posting about doing a good deed. My goal is not likes/retweets, but to encourage others to also do good. I don’t care if I get 100 negative tweets. If this inspires just one person to do a good act, mission accomplished.
This is from my Instagram story, but I felt it was worth posting here. This interaction only took 8 seconds, but it made this man’s day a lot better. Kindness doesn’t take long. Even the simplest of acts can make someone’s life better.
I’ve recently upped my meditation time to 30 minutes. I’ve been doing 10 minutes every morning for 2 years, and at some point it started to become a “to do” task. 30 minutes not only gives my mind the extra time it needs to calm down, but it feels more like dedicated “me” time 🧘🏻
I realized something today. My love languages have shifted from physical touch and words of affirmation to physical touch and quality time.
As I now fully love myself, I no longer seek external validation of any kind. Now a solid night with my partner and snuggles are enough! 🥰
